John started flying when he was still at school and an RAF Air Cadet flying DH Chipmunks. He also flew gliders and aeroplanes at RAF Wildenrath in Germany and RAF Leuchars in Scotland.
John obtained his PPL at South Warwickshire Flying School and he now owns and flies his Piper Aztec Twin from Wellesbourne Mountford Aerodrome to various locations in Europe on business and pleasure. He holds and maintains an European and US Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and is a qualified Class Rating Instructor (CRI) for single and multi-engine aeroplanes.
In his professional life he owns a boutique corporate finance business which causes him to travel to the Middle East, Africa and Asia and he is also a Visiting Senior Lecturer in Finance at Sir John Cass Business School, London. John has three daughters, a lawyer, a media expert and an IT systems developer so is covered in all areas!
