Dr. Guy Wakeley is Chief Executive of Equinity plc.  He holds an MA in Engineering Science from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Applications of Artificial Intelligence to Engineering Design.  He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a Financial Conduct Authorities Approved Person.  He is also a Commercial Pilot, Flying Instructor and Flight Examiner.

Guy was previously Chief Executive of Morrisons plc and has held divisional leadership positions with Amey plc, The Berkeley Group, General Electric and Rolls-Royce.  He is a non-executive Director of HgCapital Trust plc and a member of the CBI's Public Services Strategy Board.
