If the privileges of the Private Pilots licence are to be exercised at night. The training requirements are as follows: A course of a minimum of five (5) hours flight time in aeroplanes shall be completed at night comprising of three (3) hours of dual instruction including at least one (1) hour of cross-country navigation and five (5) solo take-offs and five (5) solo full-stop landings. Appropriate ground school audio-visual lectures to accompany the flying training is provided. This training may be carried out as part of the PPL(A) course requirements. The course does not require any theoretical or flight examination to be completed for the issue of the rating. |
